Ambassador Fan Guijin Visits to Inspect Our Company’s Work

On March 1, 2013, Fan Guijin, now the executive director of the Foreign Economic and Technical Cooperation Committee of China National Committee for Pacific Economic Cooperation, former ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Sierra Leone, Uganda, the Kingdom of Tonga, and Malawi, visited the Lingang•Waterfront Town, one of our company’s resettlement housing projects in Taizhou.

Chairman DongWeizhu warmly welcomed Ambassador Fan and his party. The Ambassador first inspected the construction of the Lingang • Waterfront Town, and then held talks with company leaders in the company’s Project Department’s conference room. Chairman Dong, General Manager Yan Jinfu, Deputy General Manager Li Jiansheng, and others attended the meeting. General Manager Yan first introduced the background, prospects, and construction condition of the Lingang • Waterfront Town project. Chairman Dong then briefed Ambassador Fan on our company’s development history and planning. The Ambassador and attendees then deeply discussed and compared the political, economic, and construction similarities and differences between China and Africa. Ambassador Fan expressed his support for Chairman Dong’s investment and development strategies in Africa while simultaneously offering valuable advice for our company’s business development in Africa based on his years of work experience in Africa.
