Warm Congratulations to Mr. Dong Weizhu on Being Elected as SDPA Vice President

On August 22, 2015, the “Third Enlarged Meeting of Presidents of the First Jiangsu Sushang Development Promotion Association was held in Nanjing. The meeting was directed by the Jiangsu Economic and Information Technology Commission, Jiangsu Federation of Industry and Commerce, and the Jiangsu General Chamber of Commerce, and hosted by the Jiangsu Sushang Development Promotion Association (hereinafter referred to as “SDPA”). At the meeting, four powerful enterprises were elected to be deputy director-general units, five to be executive director units, and 31 to be director units. Jiangsu STRE Construction Group Co., Ltd. was elected to be SDPA’s vice president unit, and the Group’s chairman, Dong Weizhu, was elected as SDPA’s vice president.

As the top platform for social networking and value sharing in Jiangsu Province, SDPA is the spiritual home for Jiangsu merchants’ cooperation and common development. It is also a wealth energy pool that “gives wisdom to management, reference for operations, courage in decision-making, and power for growth” in the mind’s eye of elite Jiangsu merchants who “keep going forward and pursuing excellence.”

Against the backdrop of the current economic situation, the provincial leaders attending the meeting delivered important speeches on the following three themes: “intelligent manufacturing and enterprise transformation and upgrade”;“development opportunities produced by financial reform for the real economy”;and “opportunities for Jiangsu merchants under the ‘One Belt One Road’ strategy.”Leaders of several Jiangsu cities and counties also attended the meeting and brought a series of PPP projects– projects which are currently advocated and vigorously promoted by the State– for in-depth cooperation in capital, project, connections, information, services, and other areas via the SDPA platform. Based on current hot-button issues, well-known Jiangsu merchant entrepreneurs also made keynote speeches on “industrial innovation promoted by the Internet +.”

Jiangsu STRE Construction Group Co., Ltd. will make full use of the opportunities and platform provided by this meeting to strengthen its cooperation with other units and promote PPP and “One Belt One Road” projects. The Group will adhere to SDPA’s purpose and philosophy, give full play to its core role as a deputy director-general unit, and achieve its goals of “repaying hometown as a daring and grateful neo-Confucian merchant.”
