Chairman Dong Weizhu of the STRE Group Meets with a Delegation from Egerton University Led by Deputy Vice Chancellor John Munene

On September 19, Chairman Dong Weizhu of the STRE Group met at the Group Company with a delegation from Egerton University, Kenya, led by Deputy Vice Chancellor John Munene. Director Dai Jianrong of theMaterialsPurchasingCenterof the Group also attended the meeting.

On behalf of the STRE Group, Mr. Dong Weizhu extended warm welcome to the delegation led by Deputy Vice Chancellor John Munene for their arrival. East Africa, withKenyaas its representative, enjoys obvious geographic advantages and great prospects for development. As one of the most important comprehensive universities in East Africa,EgertonUniversityruns 42 programs under 8 faculties, featured by agriculture. Mr. Dong Weizhu hopes to enhance exchange and expand cooperation in future development of special economies, competitive industries and promotion of regional development, so as to utilize complementary advantages and achieve joint development.

Mr. Dong Weizhu also briefly introduced the basic information of Jiangsu STRE Group, and answered Deputy Vice Chancellor John Munene’s questions about project cooperation one by one. During the meeting, Mr. Dong Weizhu also stated that, both parties should increase openness and enhance economic cooperation against the current macroscopic background ofChina’s Belt and Road Initiative. Taking the opportunity of this meeting, the STRE Group will further promote collaboration and cooperation between both parties to achieve win-win.
